Ongoing Segment: The Mahabharata (4)

Updated: Nov 21, 2020

What is The Mahabharata? Read about this tale that the Hindu religion is based around (also the Ramayana) and learn more about the origins of the beauty and vibrance you can see in India.

The Hindu religion is one of the very many cultures represented by India. Every culture has its origins, and this religion is no different. I myself, being of Indian descent, find this topic especially intriguing. I hope you will too. Now, I will begin.

The Pandavas and the Wax Castle

Now, before I begin I must remind you that the hatred between the Pandavas and the Kauravas is only growing. I must also remind you that I can't document every story that happened, because I'm trying to make this as short as possible, so please don't get mad at me for skipping some parts. I know going from the snake kingdom incident to here is a big jump, but I'll tell you anyway.

So, as you know, Duryodhana is evil, and was planning to kill his aunt and cousins, the Pandavas. What was his plan? Why, to trick them into staying in a palace made out of wax, and then lighting it on fire when they were sleeping. Fortunately, the Pandavas made it out in one piece, and Duryodhana's plan had failed. What's the moral of this story? I would say it would be that Duryodhana is wickedly cruel, but that's my opinion.
