Parvani's October Movie Recommendations

As you know, we have Halloween themed everything this month, and this is no exception!

This month's recommendations:

  • Beetlejuice PG

"Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice!" A couple dies, but they're still alive for some reason. Turns out that they're ghosts, and then people move in to what was previously their home. Trying to defend it, they hire an evil spirit by the name of Beetlejuice. But as the family that moved in starts taking an interest to the ghosts, well, let's just say it's not pretty.

  • Knives Out PG-13

There's been a murder! Harlan Thrombey, the renowned crime novelist was found dead in his room, and although an amazing detective is there, only one person knows who did it: Marta, the woman who was his nurse. Detective Benoit Blanc strives to solve the mystery, but as the story goes on, everyone is wondering whether they really know what they think they know.

  • Ghostbusters

Ghosts are showing up all around New York City! Who do people call? The Ghostbusters! A team of so-called "Ghostbusters" run around the city exterminating spirits. A romance, a doorway to another dimension, a giant Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, what could possibly go wrong?

All of these are great Halloween movies, Knives Out being the most mysterious, Beetlejuice being the most comical, and Ghostbusters being the one with weird slimy green ghosts.
